EVENT: Spring Fling

Saturday May 17th from 12-4 PM at New Roots Community Farm in Fayetteville, WV

My boyfriend, Jacob, and I met at a farmer’s market in 2023 and we are working towards having our own farmstead in the future, so I am particularly excited for this event! I love seeing how other farmers set up their land with greenhouses, garden beds, animals, and beautiful gathering spaces that allow communities to come together.

Anyone who lives in West Virginia knows that there are about two degrees of separation between everyone in this state, so even though I haven’t been to New Roots Farm yet, I’m looking forward to making connections with people who very likely already know a lot of my people.

As I’m preparing for this event, my focus is on making Quilt Top BANDANAS! I’m playing around with baby and toddler sizes, and will have a bunch for us adults. I think bandanas are such a fun way to add a bit of color to whatever you’re wearing and elevate a simple outfit. These bandanas have 4 brass snaps allowing them to be worn in 3 different sizes - making them great gifts for someone you want to adorn in some vintage style without knowing their exact measurements.

Here’s a sneak peek at some of the one-of-a-kind bandanas I’ll be bringing to the Spring Fling event. After this event, any bandanas that aren’t sold will be available at some local stores (to be announced) and on our website!
